Vice Conseiller Gastronomique National Gene Daly, chief auctioneer, affirmed once again that success in rais- ing money for even the worthiest causes (i.e., scholarships for aspiring young chefs!) takes a raconteur of the highest level. Saturday evening's induction ceremony was held in the Garden Court. Bailli Délégué Small officiated, with assistance from Chancelier National Ira Falk, Argentier National Stephen Gross, Foundation Chair John Burson, Conseiller Culinaire et des Professionnels National Reimund Pitz, Bailli Provincial de Boutray, and Bailli Cugini. After the ceremony, an elegant dinner crafted by talented Executive Chef Paul Shewchuk and his team was served in the exquisite Spanish Ballroom. Awards and accolades followed the meal, and with music provided by the Craig Lawrence Band, frolicking went on into the wee hours. G National and regional officers and baillis.
