Renton Technical College culinary students. coming the lively group of gourmands. Laughter abounded as old friends met and exchanged bailliage pins before many embarked on pre-planned dine-arounds. All affili- ated with the Chaîne, the notable establishments hosting the dine-arounds included the Steelhead Diner, Copperleaf Restaurant, Eden Hill, Altura, Loulay Kitchen, Café Juanita, Petite Galerie, Aqua by El Gaucho, and the Herbfarm. Nell's Owner/Chef Philip Mihalski prepared dinner for a group at the striking high-rise home of Chargée de Presse Provincial Robin Du Brin and Chevalier Douglas Howe. Regardless of whether they chose one of these prized restaurants or dined on their own, confrères were invited back to the Fairmont for complementary dessert and cordials sponsored by the Chaîne.
