Four Seasons Enchantment in New Mexico BY BILL SAUBERT, Vice Chargé de Presse NEW MEXICO IS known as the "Land of Enchantment," and arguably no place in the state is more enchant- ing than its capital city. Cradled between the Sangre de Cristo and Jemez mountains, Santa Fe has a rich cultural and culinary heritage, the latter of which espe- cially inspires Executive Chef Kai Autenrieth of the Four Seasons Resort Rancho Encantado. The Santa Fe Bailliage held a joint Chaîne and Mondiale induction dinner at the resort on March 18, 2017. Confrères were honored to have Bailli Délégué Harold Small conduct the cer- emony and to dine with him and his wife, San Diego Grand Officier Susan Small. At the reception, the hors d'oeuvres emphasized a blending of flavors and textures. Attendees savored these treats on the veranda in the golden glow of a spectacular sunset. Chef Autenrieth's finest talents were showcased throughout the evening, and it was difficult to decide which course was most superb. Following dinner, he and his talented team received a well-deserved standing ovation. Diners were enchanted by a delightful des- sert of plentiful truffles and sherry and enjoyed both while basking in Chaîne camaraderie with their fel- low confrères.
