Mischief Night Dinner BY URS E. SCHMID, Chevalier THE GALVESTON BAILLIAGE'S annual "Mischief Night Dinner" is a favorite among members, and the most recent one, at Yaga's Café on October 19, was another tremendous success. Costumed confrères cut loose as only the Galveston Bailliage can! The event also sparks creativity in all involved. Bailli Jan Pozzi as Cleopatra and Argentier National Honoraire Jim Pozzi as Julius Caesar got the party started while Executive Chef/Chef Rôtisseur Chris Lopez and his talented team busily prepared the amazing feast. The monsters who brilliantly paired the evening's wines were Argentier National Honoraire Pozzi, Professionnel du Vin Richard Quintanilla, and Vice Conseiller Culinare Urs Schmid. Yaga's Café Owners Maître de Table Restaurateur Mike Dean and Elizabeth Dean always put on a spirited affair, complete with great music, delicious food, and, of course, warm Chaîne camaraderie. Galveston members are as resilient as the island on which they live. When faced with challenges, they roll up their sleeves and start cooking because they love this wonderful group of friends.
