CONTENTS International Grand Chapitre and Annual General Meeting The 2018 International Grand Chapitre and Annual General Meeting was held in Paris in June. During attendees' visit to Le Cordon Bleu Paris, they were welcomed by Le Cordon Bleu International Chairman André Cointreau—a member of the Conseil d'Honneur—and Charles Cointreau. The general meeting, held at the Shangri-La Hotel, was chaired by International President Yam Atallah, with assistance from International Vice-President Marie Jones, the Conseil d'Administration, and Secretary-General Philippe Desgeorges. At the induction ceremony, coordinated by Benoît Fragnière, a member of the Conseil d'Administration, President Atallah inducted three new members into the Conseil d'Administration: Chancelier des Etats-Unis Ira Falk, Austria Bailli Délégué Norbert Simon, and China Bailli Délégué Allen Wong. Five members were inducted into the Conseil Magistral: Argentier des Etats-Unis Stephen Gross; Hong Kong Bailli Délégué Steven Kahn; Tomi Lantto from the Finland Bailliage; Kenya Bailli Délégué Shabnam Nayer; and Norway Bailli Délégué Thore Sande. In addition, there were three appointments to Bailli Délégué: Koji Fukuda for Japan, Johanna Hornborg for Finland, and Magnus Scherr for Myanmar. Following the ceremony and reception, the dining room doors were opened to the 230 guests to reveal tables set for the gala dinner created by Michelin three-star Chef Yannick Alléno.
