Induction Dinner BY SANDY MERA BRIDGER, Vice Chargée de Presse GOVERNOR ROY COOPER proclaimed November 5, 2017 "Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs Day" in North Carolina in honor of the Triangle Bailliage's thirtieth anniversary. This lent an air of formality to the chapter's induction dinner that eve- ning at the Hope Valley Country Club. It was a grand celebration of the bail- liage's past and future. Maître Restaurateur Christa Farr Evans, Maître Rôtisseur Serge Henri-Rene Falcoz- Vigne, Chevalier Karén Setian, and Chevalier John Choong Han Tan were all inducted. The elevation of Vice Chancelier-Argentier Martha Marshall and presentation of commandeur pins to Chevaliers Steven Schwarcz and Daniel Stein attested to mem- bers' commitment and longevity. Officier Raj Parikh received a Bronze Star of Excellence for his con- tinued dedication. Bailli Michael Procino and Chambellan Provincial/ Nashville Bailli Cynthia Himmelfarb led the festivities. Confrères shared memories while enjoying Executive Chef Jared Arnold's ambitious menu. The true guests of honor were the wines: Château Léoville Barton St-Julien 1996 was imported specially for the occasion by Professionnel du Vin Laure Levesque, and the double pairings invited lively debate.
