Drink, Dine, Discover BY EMMA RUTH BRITTAIN, Vice Chargée de Presse MYRTLE BEACH BAILLIAGE members heralded the advent of autumn on September 17, 2017 at SeaBlue Restaurant and Wine Bar, nestled in the seaside town of North Myrtle Beach. In addition to being named the #1 Restaurant in the Country by OpenTable in 2014, SeaBlue has won the Wine Spectator's Award of Excellence for sev- eral consecutive years. Its extensive wine cellar features top French and American producers and vintages. The dining room is embellished by a private collec- tion of local art. The ambiance felt both luxurious and modern, working in harmony with the evening's menu, which tran- scended mainstream dining. Since open- ing SeaBlue in 2008, Chef Proprietor Ken Norcutt and Managing Proprietor Tracy Smith have been devoted to creating dishes that spotlight local, organic produce and sustain- able seafood. From the opening toast, through several spectacu- lar savory courses, to the "Study of Chocolate" finale, confrères were delighted by the entire experience. As always, Vice Echanson Ry Tipton's wine selections paired perfectly with the cuisine. On the SeaBlue website, the co-owners invite din- ers to "Drink, Dine, and Discover."
