Exotic Game Dinner BY MARY ANNE LEWIS, Vice Chargée de Presse THE TULSA BAILLIAGE'S twenty-fifth annual hunt din- ner on November 8, 2015 proved to be a classic. Always held in November, this event celebrates the advent of winter by showcasing various cuts of newly hunted game and the warming effects of well-paired wines. More than fifty confrères arrived eager to experience an array of exotic meats and wines. Prhyme: Downtown Steakhouse Proprietor/Chef Justin Thompson, Executive Chef Tim Slavin, and Operating Partner/ General Manager T.C. LeRoy gave them a bel- lyful of both. Located in Tulsa's historic Brady District, Prhyme provided a lux- urious ambiance and its usual impeccable ser- vice. The staff delivered protein-dominant plates of boar, quail, veni- son, and smoked duck breast. The wine stew- ards chose an Alsatian Gewürztraminer, a Burgundy Pinot, a Rhône Côte Rôtie, and a lovely Sauternes to complement the dishes. A longtime "favorite son" of the Tulsa Chapter, Chef Thompson was given a special honor at the end of the evening. Tulsa confrères regard his many talents and continued passion for the Chaîne as treasured gifts.
