Induction Dinner BY STACY OHLSSON, Vice Chargée de Presse WHAT BETTER TIME to reinvigorate a dormant bail- liage and induct fourteen new members than on World Chaîne Day? At Kevin Taylor's at the Opera House on April 23, fifty attendees (and now forty-four Denver Mile High Bailliage members!) witnessed the proceed- ings conducted by Bailli Provincial Bill Salomon. The inductees were Chef Rôtisseur Bill Althoff, Vice Conseiller Culinaire Jerry Comar, Vice Chargée de Presse Stacy Ohlsson, Vice Chargée de Missions Lois Paul, Vice Conseiller Gastronomique Becca Reichenberger, Chevaliers Joe Dombrowski, Mark Herzfeld, Jon Kelley, and Robert Reichenberger, and Dames de la Chaîne Camille Gerard, Laurie La Plante, Lesley Miquel, Maryanne Murphy, and Sarah Pihl. Kevin Taylor is one of Denver's most acclaimed chefs and the owner of several restaurants and cater- ing operations. His son, Ryan Taylor, is executive chef at Kevin Taylor's at the Opera House and Kevin Taylor Catering at the Denver Arts Complex. Chef Ryan cre- ated the menu for this dinner under the guidance of his father and mentor. Following dessert, confrères upheld bailliage tradi- tion by standing and toasting the waitstaff and kitchen brigade. The evening concluded with Bailli Allison Ahrens presenting commemorative pins to members of both teams.
