In a Champagne Mood BY SUSAN HURLEY ESSON, Vice Chargée de Presse ON NOVEMBER 16, 2015, West Palm Beach Bailliage members were treated to a culinary extravaganza at the private Loxahatchee Club in Jupiter, Florida. Bailli Leila Warren selected this exclusive, elegant venue for her chapter's black-tie, season-opening event. The reception was held on a veranda over- looking the club's Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course, which is recog- nized internationally as a premier golf course. After enjoying views of the magical Florida sunset, the assembly moved indoors to a dining room enhanced by dancing candle- light and vibrant floral arrangements. Executive Chef/ Maître Rôtisseur David Ray once again demon- strated his own talents as well as those of his finely tuned culinary team. The sumptuous repast was accom- panied by perfectly paired wines selected by Vice Echanson Douglas Martin and Loxahatchee Club Manager Riza Mutluguler. The impeccable service and attention to detail made this dinner an auspicious start to a new and exciting season.
