Induction Dinner at Lacroix BY ELIAV BARR, Vice Chargé de Presse THE PHILADELPHIA BAILLIAGE'S annual induction dinner is the highlight of every Chaîne season for mem- bers, and the most recent one, at Lacroix Restaurant at the Rittenhouse on December 13, was no exception. Bailli Thomas Knox and Jurisconsult Paul Haar— former Mid-Atlantic Regional chambellan provincial/Washington, D.C. bailli—led con- frères in celebrating the 2015 season. At the ceremony, among other highlights, eleven new members were inducted, and eight confrères joined Mondiale. In addition, awards were given to Marigold Kitchen, which features won- derfully inventive avant-garde American cuisine, and to Volvér, the Garces Group's flagship fine-dining establishment. Following the cer- emonial portion of the evening, attendees were treated to a superb din- ner prepared under the leadership of Executive Chef Jonathan Cichon. Two standout courses were delicate lobster, paired with the creamy toastiness of Albert Grivault Meursault Clos du Murger 2013, and a lamb chop studded with black truffles and paired with two spectacular French red wines.
