Regional Camaraderie Chophouse BY PERCY NIKORA, Mid-Atlantic Chargé de Presse Provincial ON MARCH 18, the Atlantic City Bailliage hosted a dinner at Guy Fieri's Chophouse in Bally's Atlantic City hotel and casino to kick off the Mid-Atlantic Regional Meeting. The reception featured appetizers specially prepared by Guy Fieri's team. For dinner, attendees could order upscale comfort food from the menu to enjoy in the company of fellow confrères from across the region. The desserts were prepared by Executive Pastry Chef of Caesars Entertainment Atlantic City Properties Deborah Pellegrino, who has won sev- eral Food Network baking contests. She surprised Chambellan Provincial Peter Caporilli with a beautiful cake for his birthday, which happened to fall on the same day as the dinner. Vice Chargé de Missions Scott Strenger offered the group a wine— Alexander Valley Phelps Blend 2013—that he himself had pressed, bar- reled, and bottled in New Jersey. It is personal touches such as these that make Chaîne events so special. At evening's end, Bailli Provincial Robin Jacobs, Chambellan Provincial Caporilli, and Bailli Ted Lippman presented the restaurant team with a commemorative Chaîne plate as attend- ees heartily applauded their extensive efforts and talent.
